The fact you had to say normal three times in that one sentence makes me believe i'm right... So.. you can continue to hide it, knowing it's one of the few rules I have. Or you can down some liquid courage, and tell me what's really bothering you.

I just feel guilty okay???!! I have a daughter. here. one among gods knows how many. and i can't even... i can't even get the guts to tell her who i am... i don't.. i don't even think i want to. she'd probably hate me if she found out.. it's hard looking into her eyes. knowing she's my own flesh and blood. and yet... it feels like we'll always be strangers in some way..

What if I told you, she'd understand, that she'd be amazed her mother is still alive, and loves the same person she does. You know she admitted it to me, not long ago? I'm not just her daddy anymore. I'm somebody she loves... She has a daughter of her own now. Whom she loves equally as much. But she's still a child herself, one whom i'm sure, would love to have a mother.

Yeah well.. i can't be her mother... i wouldn't even begin to know how.. i'm just not... the type..

The fact it's bothering you, means you're the perfect mother. You care, and that's what matters most. The rest will come with time. Sure, there's gonna be a lot of questions, a lot of talks, but that's the point, you'll be talking with your daughter, getting to know her, and she you. Don't you think that's worth a little awkwardness?

No buts, no mother is perfect, let alone gets it right the first time around. You care, she cares. What's more to know? You couldn't be there for her before, I get that. And it hurts you, I know. But she's here, she's happy, you're here, you're happy. Why not be happy for each other, together?
